Why won't my google docs presentation work?

I uploaded a presentation I made using Powerpoint to google docs. When I click "start presentation", a screen comes up and remains black. Why is this happening? How do I start my presentation?|||I didn't understand your question to help. Power point and google docs what is this? In what format you have saved your project? Check the font color.....
