How to undo Google Docs autosave?

I was working on a project on google docs ( i was the only one viewing) and didn't realize it but i accidently deleted part of it, and it got auto-saved. I closed the document, then came back on a couple minutes later and noticed that the deleted part was gone! Is there ANY possible way to retrieve it? Please let me know!!!|||Always look in the revisions first (File-%26gt;Revision history). The revisions are like a big undo stack and you can revert to earlier versions of your document. Note the Undo only works until the next submit (at least in text documents); in fact it is only an undo of what is in the Auto-save buffer.
