Google docs concept for my site?

I want to create a site similar to google docs, what is the type of google docs site called? a webbased document editor? What kind of coding is it? mySQL?|||It's a web based application, that happens to be a word processor.





It's a very detailed programing project, so you better be hiring someone to do it because if you have to ask such a high level question, there's no way you'll be able to build something that advanced (no offense).





I don't know what backend language they use, you could use anything (PHP, ColdFusion, ASP.net, etc.). Then you need a lot of advanced JavaScript to make it interactive. And a database to store the documents, settings, etc. (e.g. MySQL, MSSQL, or any of the others).
