What is the difference between Microsoft and Google Docs?

Microsoft word, excel, etc. There has to be an answer somewhere... Thanks..|||A few big differences jump out to me:

1. Google Documents are free, Microsoft Office products are not.

2. Google Documents live in the "cloud", meaning that they reside on a server and not on a specific computer's hard drive. One can access a Google document from any computer that has an Internet connection. Microsoft documents are usually computer or disk specific.

3. Microsoft documents usually can only be accessed if a computer has Microsoft Office installed.
